Temple jewellery is commonly worn by the Bharatanatyam , Kuchipudi and Mohiniattam dancers. Classical and traditional in its appearance, temple jewelries are made of pure silver and adorned with gem stones and for high finishing quality, these are gold plated. These jewelleries are also worn as bridal wear or for family functions and parties. Temple jewellery is long lasting and is like one time investment for performers.
Imitation temple jewellery sets are generally used by young dancers. In fact every beginner should have atleast a set of Imitation temple jewellery if not original for their first few performances. These sets are best replacement for original temple jewellery and of course most cost effective but they are not long lasting.
The collection in this section includes some of the important accessories for dance like manai kattai, nattuvangam, flowers, savuri or false hair, kunjalam etc.
